Nowadays (May 2009) he mostly fights Muay Thai because he loves the freedom of being able to use all his limbs. However, many of Stephen’s most memorable performances – and most of his titles – have come in kickboxing. He reckons his most memorable fight was his first European kickboxing win over Stuart Greenless of Belfast, at that time ranked World Number 4. In only his 10th fight as a professional, Stephen knocked him out in the 4th round. Another highlight was the 2008 Last Man Standing championship where Stephen defeated a Dutch fighter, then went on to win the fight with a knockout from a head kick on the same day. Stephen, who is based in Manchester, one of the main centres of Muay Thai in Britain, says that his ambition is ‘to do all this full-time someday’. For the moment, with his little girl Anissa at three months to look after, he has plenty to occupy him, but says, ‘It’s great fun juggling everything in my life around training, fighting and teaching.’   Opportunity to get sponsorship!!!
