Kaye has been training in Muay Thai since the age of 8, but has just come to notice thanks to the Celtic Challenge series of events. After only four interclubs she travelled to the Tower Ballroom, Birmingham, on September 24th to take on, and defeat, the existing Celtic Challenge champion at 36-38 kg. One of her immediate ambitions is to defend this belt twice more so that, by Celtic Challenge rules, it becomes her property. Apart from this Kaye and her trainer, Chris Rawlings, are looking to take on any opposition and work her way up the rankings to become the best in the country at her age and weight class. |

Another immediate ambition is to gain a place in the British team by her performance at the British Championships on March 11th. In the longer term her ambitions are to train and fight in Thailand and win an internationally recognised title, then, even further in the future, to own her own gym and become a successful instructor. |
|
As an aspiring young fighter Kaye has excellent role models, with her favourite female fighter being Julie Kitchen.
The photographs show Kaye wearing her first title belt, but surely not her last, and shorts which were especially designed to celebrate her Celtic Challenge success. At the start of 2012 Kaye Crisp is certainly a name to look out for in the future.

By March 2013, a year later, Kaye has added two championships to her profile. In 2012, she took the BIKMA Southern Area title at Wokingham, followed by success at Xplosion Fight Stars (XFS) at Sevenoaks in February 2013. She has already fulfilled her ambition to train in Thailand with two weeks of good training at the Sinbi Gym in Phuket.
Now Kaye, billed as The Baby Face Assassin, is becoming a well – known name in British Muay Thai, with her next fight schedule for May 11th at the EFC Championships Show in front of her home crowd at Southend-on-Sea.
