TongTang wins on points for the IBF Pan Pacific bantamweight title
On November 23rd, international boxing for the IBF Pan Pacific bantamweight title took place at MoChit 2 station in Bangkok. Top of bill was a bout between TongTang KiatTaVeeSuk, the Thai boxer and Kim E Horn, the North Korean boxer.
In the 1st round, TongTang attacked first with left punch and right hook to E Horn’s chin. The Korean boxer obviously weakened. TongTang saw the opening and threw many punches to try to finish the fight but E Horn defended all-out and countered to the Thai boxer.
In the 4th round, TongTang got a cut on the left eyebrow. He worried about his injury and wanted to finish this fight. TongTang increased the speed of his fighting and waded into the Korean boxer. However, E Horn was able to avoid TongTang’s attack and counter-attacked fiercely with right hands to TongTang’s face. Then, TongTang changed his tactic. He used his speed of footwork to land punches at the body alternate with the face of E Horn and move back to the outside.
Finally, TongTang won on points 116-112, 116-112, 116-112 and became the new BF Pan Pacific bantamweight champion.
