NokNoi crushes Chinese challenger in 4th round knockout
 
Petch YinDee Boxing Promotions staged a world boxing WBC fight in the temporary boxing ring of Wat HuaGraBue, Bangkok, on June 29yj.
Top of the bill was the fight between NokNoi of GraTingDaeng (Red Bull) Gym, the WBC Light Fly Weight youth champion, and Lee Yong Chun, the Chinese challenger. This fight was NokNoi’s 6th defence of his title.
In the 1st round NokNoi immediately greeted his challenger with a right to the face. Lee Yong Chun, bleeding heavily from the nose, tried to use his jab to keep NokNoi at bay, but the Thai champion’s attacks crushed his Chinese challenger.
In the 3rd round Nok Noi floored the challenger with a right hook. As Lee Yong Chun rose at a count of 8, Nok Noi moved in to finish the fight, but the challenger was saved by the bell for the end of the round.
In the 4th round Nok Noi pushed forward all the time and caught Lee Yong Chun with many punches. In the middle of the round after a fierce right hand punch the referee saw that the Chinese challenger couldn’t fight any more. So NokNoi successfully defended his championship with a 4th round TKO of Lee Yong Chun.
